GI setup: Should be prepared for multiple machines rendering. Please make it a frame sequence (jpg\png or so) and connect it as an image sequence. If there are some assets that have "missing" status in 3ds Max asset tracking and can be ignored during the rendering process, please delete paths to them or just use the "ignore missing" option.Īnimated textures: Animation files (avi/mp4/etc) are not a valid option for animated textures, also. Every missing asset will increase job render time and can cause problems with rendering. There should be no missing assets on the scene. Project folder: It's best to use it, if not, it's good to make an "Assets" folder and relink all textures, vrmeshes, and other assets there. XRefs: Supported, but there can be issues with XRefs and network rendering, so we recommend merging all XRefs into the main scene. Scene files: Should be saved in.max file format in versions between 2015 and the latest. Sometime in your rendering, it is pretty normal that something goes wrong, but if you follow these simple rules, you increase your odds of avoiding issues by quite a margin.
